The Roundhouse was bought to life by the amazing Sam Smith with his first headline gig all by himself.. and boy did he impress.

With soul-ridden 'Leave Your Lover' and a brilliant closing number of 'Stay With Me', it really felt like a momentus stepping point in the career of the ex bartender boy from Bow. The highlight song of the night had to be 'Money On My Mind' with a walloping drum beat and synths. With surprise additions from the amazing Jessie Ware and Howard from Disclosure, it really amped the atmosphere.
An additional buzz was the live feed from Google Play, which did prolong the waiting time for Sam to grace the stage to a exhausting 3 hours. However, all was forgotten and forgiven as soon as he walked on stage, met with a wave of screaming and cheering.
Sam oozes charm and stage presence, captivating and pulling you in with slight smiles and little quips of excitement, 'Did you see my picture outside?!' He really does excel in engaging with the audience, inviting us in to sing along and two step from side to side.
The only way is up for Sam and with his debut album 'In The Lonely Hour', doing so well in the charts, we can only expect bigger and better from this brilliant boy.
